Everyone keeps complaining that the cartridge is expensive and they can't use generic. Sadly, thas becoming the industry standard--you can't blame this one printer. I have to print pages and pages of detailed notes and figures every day and I haven't had to replace the ink more than once so far.

I would recommend that you look into a Epson printer that offers a generic cartridge to replace the orginal. In the long run it will be more economical to use.
