| | | Customer Reviews: | | | Although HP LaserJet 13X (Q2613X) costs about 20% more than LaserJet 13A (Q2613A), it is a superior buy for a number of reasons. Topping the list is lower cost per page. 13X can print 4000 pages at 5% page coverage (ISO/IEC 19752 standard) whereas 13A can print 2500 pages. That's 37.5% difference in page yield. Divide up the toner price against 4000 (e.g., 91.99 / 4000 = 2.3 cents) to get cost per page. Secondly, laser toners last a long time whether you print few times a month or dozens of pages a day (they don't dry out). And finally, higher page yield means fewer toner replacement. My only complaint with 13X (and that goes to 13A as well) is that page yield cost with some competing printers and higher-end HP LaserJets is even less. | | |
